"Leaving from my week at Matriarch Rising Festival was like waking up from a past life. A past life where women come together to dance, move, heal, birth, and mother. A past life where we learn from and sing with our sacred elders, share precious skills like crafting and postpartum care, and receive nourishment in every way. The best part? It wasn’t a dream! This space was real, the experiences were life changing, the friendships made were authentic, the memories were precious moments we’ll carry with us. MRF was a remembering, a remembering of the community we can have and the world we can build today, together.

"I've been to many women's gatherings and circles, but never one that was so focused on pregnancy, birth, motherhood, community, and sovereignty. 
It was so beautiful to see so many pregnant bellies, breastfeeding mamas and wild children running around so freely, to see everyone dancing their booties off with babies latched onto the boob.
Receiving nourishment and wisdom all day long, women supporting women, so much beautiful art and song. 
This gathering was a remembering of what's possible."

"This last week at the festival  was pure magic and my heart is still doing a happy dance after being blown open by the amazingness that I experienced: daily morning song circles, liberating topless yoga and rain dancing, sound healing, reiki, wild woman ecstatic dance, naked babies and pregnant ladies, walking barefoot, foraging for plant medicine, a releasing and powerful grief circle, soul voice singing and other incredible womens circles.

I felt immensely supported, held, seen, heard, connected, loved and authentically me. This is how we heal. Love, self-expression and holistic connection. Connection to ourselves, connection to others, connection to nature.
